Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about training management
Tracking & Compliance
Training expiration dates are tracked at the personnel level. When adding training to an employee's record, enter the expiration date for certifications that require renewal.
You can set up Alerts to notify managers when employee certifications are approaching expiration. This helps ensure your workforce maintains compliance with required training.
Active Personnel shows the count of currently active employees who have completed this training. This excludes terminated or inactive employees.
All Personnel shows the total count of all employees (active and inactive) who have ever completed this training. This provides historical tracking of training completions.
Yes, you can attach documentation such as certificates, completion cards, or license copies to training records within the Personnel module. This provides a central repository for all employee certification documentation.
Use the Files feature in the Personnel record to upload and organize training documentation.
Management
Deleting a training requirement removes it from the list of available training types. However, historical training records that reference this requirement on employee records will remain intact.
Training assignments are typically made individually through each employee's Personnel record. For large training sessions (like company-wide safety training), you would add the training completion to each attendee's record.
Some companies maintain a training log or sign-in sheet for group sessions, then enter the completion data into individual employee records.
