Purpose

The Assigned quick action provides a central location that displays all records assigned to your user account, sorted by area of the system. Use this feature to easily jump to associated assigned records without navigating directly to each area of the system.

Assigned Records Quick Action

Accessing Assigned Records

Access your assigned records from any screen in TRUE:

  1. Click the lightning bolt icon at the top of any page
  2. Select Assigned from the dropdown menu
  3. View all records assigned to your user account, organized by system area

Jump directly to any assigned record:

  1. Locate the desired record in the Assigned list
  2. Click on the record to navigate directly to it in its respective module
  3. The record will open in its full detail view

Records are organized by the following system areas:

System Area Description
Leads Sales leads assigned to you for follow-up
Contracts Active contracts where you are the assigned user
Jobs Jobs assigned to you for management
Tasks Tasks assigned to you across all modules
Service Tickets Service tickets requiring your attention

General Usage

  1. Click the lightning bolt icon at the top of any screen
  2. Select Assigned from the quick actions menu
  3. View all records assigned to you, organized by system area

The Assigned list displays records from multiple modules where you are designated as the assigned user, including:

  • Leads - Sales opportunities assigned to you
  • Contracts - Active contracts under your management
  • Jobs - Project jobs you are responsible for
  • Tasks - Action items assigned to you
  • Service Tickets - Support tickets requiring your attention
  1. Open the Assigned quick action from the lightning bolt menu
  2. Locate the desired record in the list
  3. Click on the record to navigate directly to its detail view in the respective module

Records only appear in the Assigned list if you are specifically designated as the assigned user on that record. If a record is missing:

  • Verify you are set as the Assigned User on the record
  • Check that you have module access permissions for that area of the system
  • Confirm the record has not been archived or deleted

Assignment changes are made within each module, not from the Assigned quick action:

  1. Navigate to the specific record in its module
  2. Locate the Assigned User field
  3. Select a different user from the dropdown
  4. Save the record to update the assignment
