Purpose
The Email Capture module allows users to easily send and save emails to records in TRUE. It provides functionality to capture emails and attachments, relate them to specific records, and manage access to captured emails.

Save an Email to TRUE
In a Selected Record
- Locate the desired record in TRUE
- Navigate to the area with the "✉️" icon, typically located next to files.
- Select the "✉️" icon and choose "Generate Code"
- Copy the generated code
- In your email client, forward the email and paste the code in the body
- Send, CC, or BCC to the designated email capture address (If configured, the address will display in the prompt).
In Module List View
- Navigate to the desired module.
- Locate the record in the list.
- Select the “☰” icon.
- Click “Email Capture"
- Copy the generated code
- In your email client, forward the email and paste the code in the body
- Send, CC, or BCC to the designated email capture address (If configured, the address will display in the prompt).
View Email Captures
- In the desired record, check the "Files / Emails / Notes" section or Repository tab (Contracts)
- Alternatively, use the main Email Capture module to search for all captured emails
Manually Pull Email Captures
- In the Email Capture module, click the "⚙️" icon
- Select "Get Emails"
Manage Record Access
- In the Email Capture module, search for the desired email
- Click the "☰" icon and select "Record Access"
- Click the green unlock symbol next to users to restrict access
Forward Email Captures
- In the Email Capture module, search for the desired email
- Click the "✉️" icon
- Enter recipient information in the Name and Email Address fields
Delete Email Capture Record
- In the Email Capture module, locate the desired email
- Click the "☰" icon and select "Delete"
