Purpose
Email Capture Setup is used to capture chosen emails easily and include attachments that relate them to associated records in TRUE.
Email Capture Setup Process
Initial Setup
- TRUE Support will automatically create and configure an email capture email.
- If you do not have an email capture email configured, but would like one setup - simply submit a support ticket via the “?” icon.
Manual Setup
- Contact TRUE Support team or your appointed account manager

Provide the following information:
- Company name
- Email address (not monitored, e.g., upload@yourcompany.com)
- Password
- Email client (e.g., Gmail, GoDaddy, Yahoo)
- TRUE team will configure Email Capture and notify the point of contact
Gmail Account Setup

For free Gmail or Gmail Business accounts:
- Turn on the "allow less secure apps" setting
- This allows TRUE to access the chosen Gmail account
Update Email Capture Password
- Navigate to Company Preferences (gear icon)
- Scroll to the Email Capture section
- In the Password field, delete the current password
- Enter the new password
Additional Information
- Microsoft Outlook may not be compatible; a free Gmail account may be required
