Purpose

The ArcSite integration allows companies using ArcSite for creating drawings and generating signable proposals to import data directly into TRUE, continuing the life cycle of the job. This integration enables creating a Quote in TRUE, automatically generating a Project in ArcSite, and pushing all relevant billable line items and drawing images for immediate use in TRUE.

Setup

Company Preferences

To connect your ArcSite account to TRUE:

1. Log into the web version of ArcSite.
2. Navigate to "Advanced Settings" to get the API key.
3. In TRUE, navigate to Company Preferences.
4. Scroll down to the Integrations section.
5. Enter the 'ArcSite API Token'.

Workflows

Creating a Quote and Project (TRUE to ArcSite)

1. Create a 'blank' Quote in TRUE.
2. Open the "Items" mode and select the "Gear" icon.
3. Choose the "Integrations" option.
4. Find "ArcSite" in the list and select it.
5. This action automatically creates a new "Project" within ArcSite.

Note: The user assigned to the Quote in TRUE needs to have a matching account in ArcSite.

Creating a Drawing (ArcSite)

1. Open ArcSite.
2. Locate the recently-synced Quote in the list of Projects.
3. Click on the Project Folder.
4. Select "Create Drawing".
5. Draw using "products" within ArcSite. These will appear under the "Takeoff & Estimate" section in ArcSite, with products/pricing assigned.
6. Upload the drawing to the cloud to save it.

Pulling ArcSite Data to TRUE

1. In TRUE, navigate to the Items tab of the Quote.
2. Click the Gear Icon and select Integrations.
3. Click the 'Pull' button. This action should import the drawing and line items from ArcSite.
4. Complete the Quote in TRUE by making any additional changes to the billable items.
5. Generate your eForm proposal, add the drawing from ArcSite via "Existing Files", or send the proposal to the client using the "Email" feature.
