Purpose 

Creates a two-way connection between STACK takeoff software and TRUE, ensuring that material quantities, costs, and labor estimates remain accurate throughout the project lifecycle. This integration is particularly valuable for contractors who need to maintain precise quantity tracking from estimation through project completion.

Contracts Workflow

Commonly used by estimators to perform take-offs in STACK while using TRUE to handle bid and project management.

1. In TRUE, navigate to the “Bids” module > select a Bid > “Estimates” module > “Gear” icon > “Integrations” tile > “STACK” button.
2. You'll be asked to authenticate into STACK, at which point a new Project will be created in STACK based on the Bid in TRUE.
3. Perform your take-off in STACK.
4. Click the same “STACK” button in TRUE again to import your take-offs in STACK into TRUE.  Each Estimate created in STACK will create a unique Estimate in TRUE's Bids module.

Jobs Workflow

Commonly used by residential or small jobs salespeople to perform a quick take-off in STACK while using TRUE to handle quoting, eSign, ePay, and Jobs management.

1. In TRUE, navigate to the “Quotes” module > select a Quote > “Items” module > “Gear” icon > “Integrations” tile > “STACK” button.
2. You'll be asked to authenticate into STACK, at which point a new Project will be created in STACK based on the Quote in TRUE.
3. Perform your take-off in STACK.
4. Click the same “STACK” button in TRUE again to import your take-offs in STACK into TRUE.  Each Estimate created in STACK will be added using the “Multiple Quotes” feature within the originating Quote in TRUE.

Projects Workflow

Commonly used to keep track of subdivisions with many differing elevation plans for many Lots. Once imported into TRUE, Lot plans can be promoted to Jobs to handle work performed a each unique residence.

1. In TRUE, navigate to the “Projects” module > select a Project > “Options" button > “Integrations” tile > “STACK” button.
2. You'll be asked to authenticate into STACK, at which point a new Project will be created in STACK based on the Bid in TRUE.
3. Perform your take-off in STACK.
4. Click the same “STACK” button in TRUE again to import your take-offs in STACK into TRUE.  Each Estimate created in STACK will create unique Quotes in TRUE's Quotes module.  This assumes each Estimate is a different Lot elevation plan.
5. Using the “Template” feature in TRUE's Quote module, everytime a Quote is promoted to a Job, the Quote will remain to be used for a future Lot with the same elevation take-off from STACK.

Considerations

• Create a Quote, Bid, or Project in TRUE before taking any action in STACK.
• TRUE's integration works with Material Estimates and Labor Estimates. It is not setup to support Unit Cost Estimates.
