Purpose

TRUE Time is an application that works hand-in-hand with the TRUE subscription on any mobile device with an internet connection. It allows employees to punch in and out at virtually any job site from their personal or company-issued mobile device, and allows managers to view location data based on where the punch was performed.

The purpose of TRUE Time is to accurately track labor hours and employee time. Employees can clock in to jobs, work tickets, contracts, facilities, or divisions. Employees are not required to be users of TRUE, and multiple employees can clock on in the same device.

Fields and Buttons Description

Sign In Screen

  • Enter Pin: Four-digit numerical pin assigned to the employee
  • Gear Icon: Goes back to the Client ID input screen
  • “?” Help Menu Icon: Opens the Knowledge Base Article for TRUE Time

Weekly Summary Screen

  • Screen shows total hours worked for the week, and by day
  • Punch In: Allows employee to start a new time entry
  • View PIN Menu: Goes back to PIN Menu
  • Cost Center Selection: Choose from Divisions, Facilities, Projects, Orders, or Tickets

Open Punch Screen

  • Date: Current date of the punch
  • Start Time: Time when the punch was initiated
  • Cost Center: Selected cost center for the punch
  • Punch Out: Button to end the current time entry

Activity Selection Screen

Appears when attempting to punch out.

  • Activity: List of activities to choose from for the punch
  • Notes: Field to add any additional information about the punch
  • Complete: Button to finalize the punch with selected activity and notes

Personnel Record (in TRUE)

Required for a TRUE Time user.

  • Time Clock PIN: Four-digit numerical pin for employee time clock access
  • Enable Time Clock: Checkbox to activate/deactivate time clock access for the employee

Additional Information

  • Employees do not need to be a user in TRUE but will require a Personnel record.
  • The registration email for TRUE Time is listed in the TRUE solution under Company Preferences, General Settings.
  • Managers can view GPS data for punches in the Time Review module under HR.
  • Toggling off the Time Clock Pin field in an employee's Personnel record will prevent them from clocking in or out of TRUE Time.
