1. Open your completed quote in AVAWare
2. Navigate to the export or file output options
3. Select XML as the export format
4. Save the XML file to a location you can access from TRUE
5. Note the file location for the import process

2. Click the gear icon to access the menu
3. Select Integrations > AVAWare
4. Click Choose File and select your AVAWare XML file
5. Review the items that will be imported
6. Click Import to create the material line items

Import AVAWare files directly to a specific Contract's materials list.

1. Open the Contract where you want to add materials
2. Navigate to View > Materials
3. Click the gear icon to access the menu
4. Select Integrations > AVAWare
5. Select your AVAWare XML file and review the import preview
6. Click Import to add materials to the Contract

For the best import experience, set up your TRUE Catalog to match AVAWare items.

1. Import your first AVAWare XML file to see what items will be created
2. Use the imported items to populate your TRUE Catalog with matching products
3. Ensure product names or SKUs match between AVAWare and your Catalog
4. Future imports will automatically link to existing Catalog items when matches are found

If an AVAWare import completes but no records are created, there may be an issue with the XML file format.

Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Verify the file is a valid AVAWare XML export, not a different file format
2. Open the XML file in a text editor to confirm it contains quote data
3. Ensure the XML structure matches what TRUE expects
4. Contact DocuWrx support and provide the XML file for analysis if the format appears correct

Partial imports can occur for several reasons related to data validation or duplicate detection.

Possible Causes:

• Missing Required Fields: Some line items may be missing data required for TRUE to create a record
• Duplicate Items: If items with the same identifier already exist, they may be skipped
• Data Validation: Items with invalid quantities, prices, or descriptions may fail validation
• Review the import results and compare against your original AVAWare quote to identify missing items

The AVAWare integration is designed to work similarly to the eMullion integration for a familiar user experience.
