Purpose
This guide provides subcontractors with instructions for downloading, setting up, and using the TRUE Field mobile application to access job information, schedules, and perform field-related tasks assigned by your contracting company. TRUE Field is a mobile application that connects subcontractors with the contracting company's TRUE system. It allows you to view and interact with assigned jobs, contracts, work tickets, and schedules without requiring full access to the TRUE system.
Getting Started
Download and Installation
- Open the app store on your mobile device:
- For iOS devices: App Store
- For Android devices: Google Play Store
- Search for "TRUE Field"
- Tap "Download" or "Install"
- Once installed, open the TRUE Field app
Initial Setup
- Enter the “Client ID” provided by your contracting company. This field can be found via the “gear” icon in the TRUE Field app
- Enter the username and password provided by your contracting company
- Tap “Sign In”. You can use the “Remember Me” checkbox to save the login information for the next time you access the application.
Password or Login Information
If you need to reset your password or access your login information, contact your company representative. Password resets must be performed by the contracting company's TRUE administrator.
Main Menu Navigation
After signing in, you will see the Main Menu with several options. Access records you are assigned to, most common “Schedules”:

Understanding Your Assignments
Every type of record you can be assigned to serves a unique purpose. Your contracting company may use them for their own purposes, it's always best practice to directly reach out to them for any additional assistance pertaining to their TRUE Field uses.
Contracts
Contracts represent formal agreements for commercial projects between your contracting company and their client. When you access a contract, you can view:
- Contract ID and basic information
- Start and completion dates
- Jobsite address
- Client information

Jobs
Jobs represent specific work to be completed for service/residential type projects. When you access a job, you can view:
- Job ID and description
- Timeline and deadlines
- Location details
- Assigned personnel

Work Tickets
Work tickets are specific work orders assigned to you. Not all TRUE users utilize Work Tickets, but they can be an alternative to assigning directly to a Contract or Job. When you access a work ticket, you can view:
- Work ticket ID and description
- Required work details
- Timeline and location

Schedules
Schedules show your assigned work organized by date and time. This is often the easiest way to view your upcoming assignments. These are typically tied to Contracts, Jobs or Work Tickets, granting you access and only displaying your existing schedules.
